Built for two couples who want Indonesia all to themselves.
Dewata is built on one idea: a private yacht where the crew outnumber the guests nearly three to one and the whole day is arranged around four people. Eleven crew for two couples, a cruise director who is a PADI instructor and guides every dive himself, a massage therapist who gives up to two treatments a day per guest, and a chef cooking for a table of four. Nothing aboard is shared with a manifest.
She is compact on purpose, drawn around what a small group needs to reach the places larger vessels cannot: a tight beam, ironwood and teak, a shallow draft. The private aft terrace off the two master cabins has a dining table, a sunbed, a refrigerator and an outdoor shower above a bathing platform at water level, so getting into the sea takes no planning. The upper deck carries two sunbeds and the foredeck is where dinner happens under the sky. She is simpler than the flagship yachts, and honest about it: comfort and function before opulence, with the freedom to move on your own schedule.
She was launched in 2022 in ironwood and teak, rated for the open-water passages, and her private aft terrace steps straight down to a bathing platform at the waterline. Eleven crew look after four guests, a ratio almost nothing at her size can match.
The Experience
The Right Guests for Dewata
Two couples, or a couple with children, who want a private phinisi to themselves and are more interested in the destination than in the boat. She is where we start a first charter in Indonesia for a small group, because eleven crew for four guests takes the uncertainty out of a first week at sea.
A day in Komodo on Dewata for two couples is a dive with the cruise director at slack water, a beach the larger yachts pass, a massage on the upper deck, and dinner on the foredeck under the sky.
The Vessel
Technical Specifications
Designed for Remote Passages
Dewata was purpose-designed for extended passages through Indonesian archipelago waters, including the Banda Sea and outer Raja Ampat islands. Her 5,000-liter-per-day water maker, twin generators, and full safety equipment suite reflect genuine expedition preparation.
Accommodation
Three Cabins, Zero Compromise
The two master cabins sit side by side on the main deck aft, each 18 square meters with queen-size beds and full ensuite bathrooms finished with rainfall showers, organic toiletries, and robes. Positioned at the stern, both cabins open toward the water. The private aft terrace serves both, with a dining table, sunbed, and al fresco shower above the bathing platform.
The lower deck guest cabin converts between a 180x200cm double and two 90x100cm singles. It has its own fully-appointed ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, and enough wardrobe space for a 10-night itinerary. For a family with children or a third couple, the lower cabin adds capacity without crowding the main deck.
Aboard
The anchor drops at dusk, and the only question left is how long to stay.
